Shaun once revealed how Nina used her stardom to get a table in a restaurant while they were on a date. The snowboarder retired in 2022, and since then, he has spent quality time with his girlfriend. A few days ago, the couple visited Greece and shared pictures of them. 

Nina Dobrev utilized her stardom for a date with Shaun White

During an interview with People, White talked about how he didn’t know Nina first. And to learn more about each other, the couple decided to go on a date. Shaun said, “I actually didn’t know anything about her.” Unfortunately, as they reached the restaurant, there were no seats available.

But Nina took the initiative and went to arrange a table for them. He added, “The place was packed. And she was like, Let me go see if I can get a table.” Dobrev is mostly known for her role as Elena and her doppelganger in Vampire Diaries. So there was a time when Shaun grew accustomed after seeing The Vampire Diaries series.

The couple gets loved by the public due to their dazzling chemistry. However, the main key feature of their relationship is that both love snowboarding and are often found sharing snowboarding pictures.

From same interest to impeccable chemistry

In an interview with US Weekly, Shaun shared his thoughts about Nina being his made-in-heaven match. The snowboarder said, “I’m teaching Nina how to surf currently. She’s so talented as a snowboarder, which is great, because I’ve been in past relationships when they couldn’t snowboard and I’m a terrible coach. I’m like, ‘You just do it!’ But now she’s got the surfing bug. She’s excited about it, so now we’re trying to find places we can go surf and vacation and hang… She caught like seven waves in Hawaii, and it was like she was feeling it, yeah!”

Even when White got retired from snowboarding, Dobrev remained his biggest supporter. The couple first met during an award show in 2012. However, they entered a relationship in 2020 and were spotted cycling together in Malibu. After making their relationship official on April 18, 2020, they were seen doing DIY home renovation and changing the interiors of Nina’s house.
