When Shaun steps in the snow, the world braces for an incredible performance. Back in 2021, Shaun set out on his quest for a fifth Olympic appearance but faced many setbacks, including the pandemic. Despite it, White, a man on a mission, did not leave his hopes until the last minute.

At the ‘last contest’ before US team selection for Beijing, White claimed the podium spot at LAAX Open 2022, Switzerland, to mark his place on the team. Shaun will now fly with his American teammates to China next month. Sadly, this will be the last time fans will witness him perform at the Olympics, as he has already announced his retirement, post the soon-approaching Winter Games.

Albeit, the bright side to look at is White will compete for another historical achievement, a fourth Olympic gold medal. Do you think Shaun White will fly his way to his last Olympic podium in Beijing?
