The Tahiti Pro 2023 marked the start of the final season matches on 11th August and will be closing the event on 20th August. The competition took place at Teahopo’o, South Pacific Ocean. A total of 34 surfers from across the world took part and some of them will also get a chance to perform in the 2024 Paris Olympics. There will be 48 surfers competing in the Olympics next year, and the qualifications are determined by the WSL rankings.
According to the Olympics, 24 women surfers and 24 men surfers are fixed to compete in the Olympic Games. Surfers from Brazil, Australia, the US, and some other countries have already secured their place in the Olympics. Jack Robinson, the Australian pro surfer who won the Tahiti Pro, also got shortlisted for the Olympics and astonished his fans.

He defeated Brazil’s champion surfer, Gabriel Medina, with his powerful performance.
