Apart from being a Hawaiian pro-surfing aficionado, Ivan Florence holds the degree of being a spearhead of POV scenes in the barrels and waves. Recently, the beholder of oceanic beauty shared a vlog series that framed the major barrels he toured last year. That vlog captured the surfing destinations in a combined manner, missing out only a destination that was attended by the Florence brothers in the last half of the season.

Recently, the John John Florence sibling couldn’t hold himself when he saw the clip of that tour on IG. The aftermath witnessed some joyful banter and sibling love on the platform.

On January 2, Maui Media Cartel shared a clip from last year’s Van Pipe Master surfing title where the Florence brothers appeared as a possible champion trio. John John Florence ended up winning the title. The posted clip captured that mood where Nathan, being the off-footed, dove into the water from his surfing board when an enormous wave was turning toward him.

The meek appearance of Nathan in front of gigantic waves and subsequent diving into the water made the media body’s IG handle caption, “The moment you reconsider careers”.

Later, the 29-year-old surfer shared the story on his IG handle and accompanied the post with a contrasting snippet. The snippet showed Ivan Florence, piercing through the high waves without a blink. Originally, Ivan shared his clip as a part of a Happy New Year message. However, that opened up the can of funny exchanges.

Maui Media Cartel grabbed the chance and reshared the story but with a funny quip this time. The career might be Nate’s vlog engagement, which he nurtured for years. However, the retort from Nathan didn’t come in. But Vans Pipe Masters was fortunate enough to see the brothers together.

The challenge posed by Van Pipe Master

On December 12 last year, the Florence trio appeared in the penultimate Vans Pipe Masters, which is infamous for its large waves. John John Florence ultimately overpowered the nearest contender, Makana Pang, to stay on top. But that wasn’t reflected in his siblings’ performances. However, that day surfing pro Nathan Florence settled himself nicely beside the vlogger self. In the surfing title, he came ninth, despite the hearty run of Ivan, who stood far behind.

That occasion might be an aberration in Nathan’s surfing spree, but the year was beautiful in his lenses and his vlogs didn’t miss a chance to give the surfing community a major goal. Now the surfer is girding up his loins to take on such big barrels in 2024.
