As per the reports from Surfer.com, Kelly Slater has listed his North Shore, Oahu, residence for sale, and the reported asking price that he has set for the place is a whopping $20 million. The estate lies in the heart of Oahu, a place that has been home to numerous influential figures, like former POTUS Barack Obama, who owned the house named “Robin’s Nest” from the TV show Magnum PI, which was later demolished and replaced with a mansion. He had bought the property for $8.7 million in 2015.

Uncovering the property’s little tidbits and secrets

Slater had bought the place in 2017 for $7.8 million, and it had some of the greatest memories of him tied to the place. It was because the Hawaiian native used to spend most of his days in a modest home on Oahu’s Papailoa Road during the 1980s, and when he got the opportunity to own a property in the same locality, Slater did not miss a chance. Despite already having a house about 3 miles away from the compound, he grabbed the deal in no time.

Papailoa Road is one of the most posh streets on the North Shore of Oahu, which was one of the reasons why it attracted Kelly Slater’s interest.
