He had bought the property for $8.7 million in 2015.
The Game of Thrones and Aquaman-famed Hollywood prodigy Jason Momoa, who was born and brought up in Oahu, also has a residence in Kualoa Ranch on the island of Oahu. Uncovering the property’s little tidbits and secrets
Slater had bought the place in 2017 for $7.8 million, and it had some of the greatest memories of him tied to the place. It was because the Hawaiian native used to spend most of his days in a modest home on Oahu’s Papailoa Road during the 1980s, and when he got the opportunity to own a property in the same locality, Slater did not miss a chance. Despite already having a house about 3 miles away from the compound, he grabbed the deal in no time.

The half-acre estate comes with an incredible 7,600 square feet of living space; it has a private pool, a guesthouse, a separate gatehouse, a guest apartment, and three-car garage parking. Papailoa Road is one of the most posh streets on the North Shore of Oahu, which was one of the reasons why it attracted Kelly Slater’s interest.
