Despite her minimal presence at surfing championships, 33-year-old Alana Blanchard is one of the most sought-after surfers. Previously sponsored by Rip Curl Pro she has won several titles like The Women’s Pipeline Championships, and The Rip Curl Girls Festival Junior Pr. However, after a great run at professional surfing, the ASP World Cup surfer now focuses on sharing her experiences with the world. Recently, she stunned her 1.7 million followers by swapping her surfboard with a horse, while taking on the sea. 

A few hours ago, Blanchard took to her Instagram to share a peaceful and fun experience of spending time in the water with horses. Her unique experience was nothing less than a surprise for a fan.

Alana’s Instagram story featured a video of the surfer and Australian photographer Catie Allen riding their respective horses while slowly trotting in the sea. The duo reached a certain depth where half the legs of the horses were in the water. As Alana and Catie moved forward, the adorable animals were seen seamlessly tackling the unstill waters. Moreover, the duo donned helmets and horse-riding boots to maintain their safety. 

Alana captioned her video, “Forgot to post this weekend…Went on a birthday ride for @thats.catieallen”. The surfer also shared another story of her riding her horse in the sea. It was a video of Alana enjoying a beautiful experience on a sunny day at the beach, realizing that “The horses love the water”.

Besides the horse riding adventure, the surfer, with a net worth of $2 million, has always been up for new experiences. Recently, she enjoyed a thrilling vacation at the ‘Soft Coral Capital of the World’.

In April, Blanchard went on a dreamy Fiji vacation with the love of her life, Jack Freestone, and their two kids. The surfer shared a 12 seconds reel with the caption,  “Best family trip ever!!”  Moreover, the glimpses of Tavaru Island seemed breathtaking in the video. 

Packed with loads of memories, the post featured the surfer’s family taking on the waves on their surfboards. Both Blanchard and Freestone surfed with their kids on the board with them. It also had heartwarming moments of Alana sitting with her son on the beach, looking at the sunset, and romantic moments shared between her and her fiance, Freestone. 

It’s great how Alana Blanchard welcomes new experiences with open arms. Her daily encounters help her embrace the positivity in her life amidst all the negativity on the internet.
