Griffin, who addresses himself as Foy, took the matter to social media for a clear explanation. He wrote a long paragraph on Instagram along with the video where the two surfers were competing.

The video clearly showed that Nat tried to crash on Foy. The 21-year-old called him out for messing with the surfing etiquette. He said that this form of surfing is quite local. Foy wrote in his post on 20 November;

Dude acts like this and then has the whole city ready to fight or kill for him and come after me! Whatever, I’ve had hits on my head before, nothing new. I know how to move.”

Furthermore, Foy urged the starting of a surfing fight club to handle beef between players. In fact, he also wrote that he was ready to invest his money into something like that. In the end, Foy mentioned:

“I wasn’t too  concerned if I ran into him in the process of teaching him how to surf… we should start a surf league like UFC maybe @surfingfightclub and with mma to handle beefs.”
