Tony Hawk is the GOAT of skateboarding. He has secured many vertical skateboarding titles during his professional career. But he possesses many more talents, such as surfing. In one of the episodes of  ‘Web’s most searched questions’, the pioneer of skateboarding appeared and opened up about his surfing enthusiasm. When a question came up about his surfing, Hawk replied, “Yes, I can surf. I’ve been surfing almost as long as I’ve been skating.”

Hawk often tries his legs in surfing and posts the attempts on his social media. The athlete admitted that he loves surfing but refrains from practicing modern techniques and hence sticks with conventional ones. His fans are also aware of his surfing zeal, recently, Hawk proved his love for surfing once again with a new post on social media.

Skateboarding pro flaunts his surfing skills

Tony Hawk recently posted videos on his Instagram story where he was seen surfing with his family and friends. Hawk, his friend Miles Gizmo, and Hawk’s daughter Kady Hawk were whooping up their surfing enthusiasm in summer. The skateboarder was seen riding the waves behind a jet boat, his balance, movement, and skills were nothing less than a surfing pro.

Hawk is one of the popular faces who have a different profession but also has an ardor for surfing. Chris Hemsworth, Maggie Gyllenhall, Reese Witherspoon, and Adam Sandler are some of the other celebrities who not only own a surfing passion but also possess great surfing skills. There are many more actors and singers who take their time out on beautiful beaches and surf in their spare time. And for Hawk, it was not the first time that he went surfing, there are some other famous surfing moments of Tony Hawk.

Surfing avidity of Tony Hawk

A few years back, Hawk went on a surfing picnic with the legend himself, Kelly Slater, and the professional skateboarder and snowboarder, Shaun White also accompanied them. The World Surf League gave the skateboarders the opportunity to test their legs on a surfboard at Surf Ranch. Before that in 2013, Hawk was surfing in the Eisbah River in Munich, Germany. He learned how to ride the waves with a surfboard and pretty soon he began hitting the waves like a pro. There are many more instances where Hawk was seen relishing surfing in the oceans.

Tony Hawk is certainly a multitalented personality who possesses skills in more than one field. He and Slater share a bond like school friends and both of them are legends in their own field and many give this a reason for Hawk to surf like an expert.
