John John Florence celebrates Nathan Florence’s winning spree

US Olympian John John Florence took to his IG handle to reshare Stab Magazine’s post on his story. The post encapsulates his brother’s winningest performance in 2023, as the Stab Surfer of the Year’23 in the best male surfer category. The caption reads, “According to 45 of the surf world’s most prominent figures (and you), Nathan Florence did it best in 2023.”

It further continues, “We’ve watched him on every major swell on (almost) every continent, paddling into waves that have no business being wrangled. @nathan_florence’s watchable, likable, and uber-entertaining surf vlogs are the most inspirational content in surf media. We can’t wait to see what Slab Tour ’24 brings | @skullcandy.”

Surfing pipeline has been a Florence family affair, and Nathan has indeed lived up to it.  As the most barreled surfer last year, he has taken to redefine the possibilities on the huge waves.

Interestingly, Nathan Florence not only made it to the headlines but also made many heads turn his way, as his surfing comrades expressed their heartfelt encomium for the ‘Stab Surfer of the Year’23’.
