Impressed by the artwork, Michael reacted to the post and shared it on his Instagram account, accompanied by the caption “Thx for the love! EPIC piece!”

Elaborating on the inspiration behind the artwork, the artist, Jack, explained, “growing up, these were my Mikes. Phelps, Jackson, Vick, Tyson, Jordan, & Johnson”. In his online portfolio, Jack displays an impressive collection. His works frequently feature other athletes like Sha’Carri Richardson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Muhammad Ali and many more. In March, Phelps shared a post by Sky’s Arts and Crafts on his Instagram story. Sky, a young swimmer from Florida would watch Phelps’s videos to improve her swimming techniques. However, while doing so she ended up making an impressive sketch, which Phelps luckily stumbled across. The Olympian, moved by the artwork reposted it with the caption, “How good is this!!😍😍”.

Another thoughtful moment was when Michaela Ben Yehuda, a New York based artist, shared the portraits of Michael Phelps and Lionel Messi as a part of her current collection. When the Baltimore Bullet caught the painting, he shared the post on his Instagram story, exclaiming, “This is sick!!!”.
