“Can’t Risk Bringing Home Any Sickness”: Caeleb Dressel Drops Public Apology for Swimming World

“Home is where the heart is”, is an adage that precisely encapsulates Caeleb Dressel’s recent fatherhood sojourn. He not just stands are a formidable force to be reckoned with, creating ripples in the turquoise waters but acing it on the family front as well. At just a tender 27, he seems to be ushering in his fatherhood duties oh-so wonderfully, with the steady backing of his wife Meghan too.

In other news, he has gotten back to familiar territory, i.e. the pool, and the world is all praises for it. With his recent performance at the TYR Pro Series, his maiden tour de force performance post donning the hat of a family man, he shared some profuse words of wisdom vis-à-vis his family that endeared us to him even more.

Recently, the athlete competed at the TYR Pro Series in Westmont. During the 50 Free he was swimming in, he came out on top. He showed his skills and talent through the victory in the event, and came home the victor. However, the athlete seemed to be in a rush and went back without even signing autographs or greeting his fans. The athlete sent a shockwave to everyone present there, about which the 27-year-old explained post-event. Some moments after the competition, Caeleb Dressel uploaded a story on Instagram that said, “I would of loved to stay late and sign for everybody. I can’t risk bringing home any sickness to my boy, sorry everybody.”

This story changed the whole mindset of fans who were waiting to see the athlete. Being disappointed that the athlete did not stay back for them, their emotions morphed when they started appreciating Caeleb Dressel for being this caring and loving towards his family. The family-loving side of Dressel has been expressed by him ever since his prioritizing of family took center stage. Even before welcoming the baby boy on February 20th, the swimmer posted regularly, expressing his excitement for his soon-to-be child.

Be it swimming or fatherhood, Dressel is an inexorable juggernaut

The swimmer competed in the TYR Pro Series with his unmatched skill and techniques. He started off with a lightning start and each of his strokes left the other competitors way behind him. In the 100 m fly at the TYR Pro Series in Westmont, he clinched a 51.27. He overshadowed Dare Rose and Zach Harting. He equally left an indelible mark in the 50 m Free with a 21.84 respectively, leaving behind Santo Condorelli, Jack Alexy and many more phenoms to bite the dust. With his extraordinary performances and the expected victories at the event, Caeleb Dressel is gearing up for the Paris Olympics 2024 with his strict routine and skill enhancements.

Alongside the mastery in swimming, the swimmer’s care for his child is adorable and appreciable. The way he balances both worlds makes him set an example for other athletes, too. Fatherhood looks good on him, and we are here for it.
