However, once another athlete who belongs to the NFL was confused as Phelps. The athlete was non-other than Eli Manning. As he described the hilarious event on the Tonight Show, Eli’s and Michael’s fans reacted with funny comments on Instagram.

During the show “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Eli recalled when a store owner mistook him for the swimming legend. He stated, “I go into a store, and you know I get to the counter, and the guy looks at me and goes, are you who I think you are?”
