Before she clocked the 3rd best timing of her career, Sarah announced that she was soon going to get married. However, she didn’t announce the name of her fiancee or the date and venue of her wedding. Whether she marries before the Paris Olympics or not is a big question but for now, the 30-year-old will be all smiles celebrating her 6th consecutive 50m title. Sarah producing her 3rd best timing ahead of the Olympics is a good sign for her, and if she keeps herself, the Olympic Gold Medalist may well break her fastest time of 2014.

She clocked a world record 24.43 seconds in 2024 during the Swedish Championships to become the fastest woman swimmer of all time. Later in 2017, Sarah clocked 24.60 seconds to seal the 2nd fastest position, and today’s swim makes her sweep all three positions. With still a few months left for the Paris extravaganza, can Sarah better her timing by 0.2 seconds to break her own record? Let us know in the comments.
