Throwback to when Michael Phelps lost at poker

In 2013, the legendary Olympian decided to showcase his talents to his fans when he stopped for a hand at World Poker Competition. The die-hard fans of Phelps know he loves the sport. While being there, Phelps played his hand at quite a few games, winning them all until his luck finally ran out.

The Guillaume Rivet and Michael Phelps duo was at the table, playing a high-tension match. Rivet bet an amount of $24,000 and Michael had to call. When Phelps first sat down to play, he was enthusiastic and jovial. In a byte to NESN, he had said, “I wasn’t even going to play today.
