After winning one bronze in the NCAA championship in 200m, his work shone in the Summer Olympics 2024 when he outshone swimming sensation Caeleb Dressel and defending champion Jack Alexy. Meet Chris Guiliano’s parents

Chris Guiliano was born on June 25th, 2003, to parents Joe and Cecilia Guiliano. The couple has two sons, Chris and Joseph; both of them are swimmers by profession. Father Joe and Mother Cecilia are active members of the Rockne Athletics Fund. Their parents tenderly nurtured Chris’s and Joseph’s love for swimming. Their mother, Cecilia, used to take her boys to swimming lessons.

Although nothing more is revealed about the two in the public domain, they still made headlines over their jubilation over Chris’ win at the Olympics trials. Their support for the swimmer seemed unwavering and pure.

How has the immense support from parents helped the swimmer?

When dreams are nurtured young, they endure longer and develop until they become a reality. Chris Guiliano’s dream to become a top-race swimmer was fostered by his parents. His early introduction to swimming happened when he was 8 years old. Cecilia’s dedication to taking him to swimming lessons laid the foundation for his budding dream. He shared the pictures from the Golden Goggles Award 2023, thanking his mother and calling her the ‘real MVP.’ The swimmer pens down, “Mom, thanks for everything you’ve done and everything you continue to do for me. Wouldn’t be on this journey without you. YOU THE REAL MVP❤️” Not to forget his father and brother, the Olympian added a comment to his comment box, saying, “Love you too Dad and Broseph.”
