He not only clinched another grand slam victory, but he also asserted his dominance by taking home his 24th Grand Slam triumph. With this, he garnered regard from his fandom and encomiums form many elite athletes, who penned some sincere paeans for the tennis legend.

At the US Open, tennis legend Novak Djokovic made history by becoming the oldest man to win the tournament in the Open Era. His historic victory matched Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slam titles. However, in addition to the champion’s victory, the sports world witnessed a touching moment as Michael Phelps and Lindsey Vonn took to their Instagram accounts to celebrate Djokovic’s incredible win and added an intriguing caption!
