The Meeting Record for the Womens’ 200m at the Zurich Diamond League is 21.66seconds done in 1990 by Merlene Ottey.
— Kemal Forde (@kemal_e_forde) August 31, 2023
Ottey finished a 200-meter race with a time set of 21.66 seconds. But Shericka Jackson has a greater progress in lowering the time sets of 200-meter races. She raised the hopes even higher now after breaking her own record of 21.45 by 21.41 in the world championships. Hence, most likely, the star has the chance to break the deep-rooted world record of 1990 in 2023.
