Recently digital creator and Olympic Medalist Rori posted a video with Michaela Rose on his Instagram handle where she explained how she signed the contract with caption, “The NIL game is still new and fans and athletes alike are learning as we go! Here NCAA & SEC Champion Michaela Rose explains part of the process of how she signed with Adidas”. In the interview, Michaela was questioned about her experience and the process during the Adidas Signing and going to the NIL. The 20-year old said, “It’s definitely new… That’s why it took a while because my mother, my father really wanted to make sure I capitalised on getting the best possible thing.” She has taken time and decided patiently for signing a deal. Being in her initial steps, she did not hesitate to look forward to expert guidance. “I’ve had my coaches helping me, you know, some marketing assistance”, she expressed her gratitude.

Furthermore, she was asked about a deeper insight regarding coming out with the deal, and what she would advise her fellow athletes. Replying to this question Michaela Rose shared information stating, “Agencies, but as a NIL athlete you have to call them marketing assistance, so people who would go out there and put your name for brands to see and you know capitalise on them”. Michaela Rose explained the key role market assistance plays in an athlete’s career. She also discussed the benefits of having connections and highlighted Coach Shaver at LSU, who boasts significant experience in the field. Concluding her answer, she emphasized that signing is a choice, not a necessity, but acknowledged its potential for helping athletes generate income.

Past fast tracks and new beginnings to future 

From her early days as a standout athlete in high school, where she clinched multiple state championships and set impressive records, Michaela Rose showcased her immense potential. She earned the “SEC Women’s Runner of the Week” title for the third time in 2024, and fifth time in her career. She has also claimed the silver at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
