In 2023, McLaughlin Levrone pulled out of the Brussels Diamond League due to a knee injury. In her absence, Femke Bol dominated the proceedings, winning the race with a time of 52.11s. With the win, Bol registered her fifth Diamond League of the year, previously winning the other four.
