The Silesia Diamond League will be held on 16th July at Silesian Stadium, Poland. Indeed, the Silesia Kamila Skolimowska Memorial event will be historic, and it is most exciting for fans. The event will host the Olympic Champions, World Champions, and many more star athletes. Spectators will also witness two women sprinting legends, Sha’Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson, competing in the league.

Shericka Jackson, the Jamaican track and field athlete, won her Jamaican track and field Championships with a stunning timing of 10. 65 seconds. And the American sprinting champion, Richardson, also made many heads turn her way by clinching the 100 m victory in USA Track and Field Championships. Now the national champions will be competing in the Silesian League for the world champion title. 

One-to-one competition between Shericka and Sha’Carri 

On 7th July, the USA Track and Field took place at Hayward Field, in which Sha’Carri blasted her finals with a strong finish with 10.82 seconds in a 100m race. Shericka meanwhile showcased her determination in the Jamaican trials. Now the world will witness the blazing competition between five-time Olympic medalist Shericka and the stellar sprinter Sha’Carri. 

Piotr Małachowski expressed his thoughts for Richardson by saying, “You can love her, as thousands of fans do, or refuse to accept her, as is probably the case for some. Nobody feels neutral about Sha’Carri. It is either-or. She has been widely known as a controversial figure. In today’s sports marketing, that is a valuable asset.” According to the Wanda Diamond League, many more special sprinters will compete in the same race with Jackson and Richardson.

The star list of Women 100m contenders

Elite athletes from across globe the will be taking part in the 100m Silesia Diamond League race. The athlete competing are- Shericka Jackson (Jamaica), Sha’Carri Richardson (America), Marie Josee Ta Lou (Ivory Coast), TeeTee Terri (America), Aleia Hobbs (America), Daryll Neita (Britain), Anthonique Strachan (Bahamas), Ewa Swoboda (Poland), and Gina Luckenkemper (Germany).
