After being one of the 40 people conned in the multi-million fraud in Jamaica, Usain Bolt has been hot and bothered since January 16th, 2023. The invested money which was primarily saved for his retirement vanished, leaving him with just a meager amount of $12,000 to spare. Since then, Bolt has been sharing a series of cryptic posts. In his latest Tweet, Bolt yet again shared a vague post with his fans.
The figure Usain Bolt lost was in the millions, US$12,746,181.74 to be exact. Fans have been quite supportive since the whole facade unfolded. While Bolt confirmed that he is not broke, the shakes were unarguably enough to put a dent in his spirits. So, what did Usain Bolt tweet this time? Needless to say, the fans are worried.

A glimpse into the $1.2 billion scam
On January 16th, 2023, the news broke out of the massive scam that rocked the private investment firm called Stocks and Security Limited (SSL) to the core. Moreover, as many as 40 people have been scammed, including Usain Bolt. In fact, the Financial Services Commission invested in the case at first. Later, the FBI too was involved in the case.

As the investigation continues, there are several updates and statements made frequently. Shockingly, it was also stated that the fraudster has now approached Bolt’s firm for a loan to pay back all the victims. The situation is messed up, but we might see a clearer picture soon, as the case moves forward. Jamaican’s finance minister has called the situation “alarming and evil.” However, he ensures the people of a rightful investigation from their side.
However, there is no hint of any retainment of money till now. And as time passes by, Usain Bolt and his fans continue to hope for the best as the authorities are trying to make advancements in the case.
