Track Spice recently added a new tweet to X with the caption, “Did Sha’carri Richardson show up to Millrose Games just to watch Christian Coleman amidst dating rumors last year 👀.” The post also carried an image of SCR clapping in her classic outfit from the stands and an image of Coleman.

The dating rumors between the two US athletes began when one fan claimed to have spotted them together in Budapest. The fan claimed that Sha’Carri Richardson and Coleman dined at a McDonald’s outlet together during the WAC. Moreover, the duo also tried to conceal their identities with a disguise.

However, this fan saw through their disguises and also happened to be at the same hotel as the US track team. The fan reported that Sha’Carri Richardson and Coleman were standing together in a very cozy way. This fan even took a picture with the duo, but when they asked SCR about McDonald’s, she denied knowing what the fan was talking about. 

There’s only one witness to this tale, and thus, it can be a cock and bull story. However, something occurred live in front of thousands of spectators at the Budapest WAC that solidified the dating rumors about Sha’Carri Richardson.

The occasion when Coleman could not contain his excitement

Christian Coleman ran to Sha’Carri Richardson and lifted her up in excitement when she finished the 4x100m with a win. He couldn’t time the move properly, which resulted in SCR getting slammed on the ground, but getting back up unhurt. This moment further fueled the dating rumors between the two.
