The world of sports gives a stage for players to showcase their talents and win trophies, medals, and prizes. Interestingly, it also gives them a stage to voice their opinions and win the hearts of people. Leveraging the advantage of this position, track and field legend Allyson Felix has often spoken about the various needs of female athletes, especially mother athletes.
While Tommie Smith and John Carlos had to create a strong impact in one fell swoop, social media allows players to communicate more freely.
