On the Budapest tracks, a couple have started their journey to happily ever after. A Slovakian racer, Dominik Cerny, knelt on his knee to propose to the love of his life, sprinter Hana Burzalova, at the end of her race. After this adorable moment on the tracks, the video of the couple has gone viral on social media. On August 25th, Sky News also posted the video of the couple with the caption, ‘This is the moment two Slovakian race walkers got engaged at a finish line world athletics championship in Budapest.

In the video, Hana Burzalova, who had run a 35-kilometer race, was seen reaching the crossline, while Dominik Cerny bent down on his knee to propose. Interestingly, as she said yes, Dominik Cerny was even spotted carrying his fiancée in his arms. After going viral with the wedding proposal at the World Athletics Championship, Hana Burzalova, shared her thoughts with the media.

After making waves in the World Athletics Championship, runner Hana Burzalova shared her thoughts with the media. The Slovakian athlete revealed to the media “It was really nice. Now when I’m thinking about it, it’s more and more emotional because at that time it was really hard to absorb everything.” Dominik Cerny, who had decided to propose to Burzalova at the event, had kept the ring with him through his race.
