The Penn Relays, a highly anticipated three-day event held from April 25-27, 2024, at the iconic Franklin Field in Philadelphia, delivered unforgettable moments. However, for Quincy Wilson and his team, things didn’t go as planned.

Wilson, a rising star in the US junior circuit, had showcased remarkable performances throughout the 2024 season, particularly in the 400m category. Despite being a favorite for the upcoming United States Olympic Trials, the finals didn’t culminate as expected for him.

In the 4x400m relay event, the 16-year-old American prodigy finished his leg in an impressive 44.37 seconds. Although his team, Bullis, secured third place with an overall time of 3:13.10 minutes, Kingston College emerged as the winner. While the outcome was disheartening, fans knew how to cheer the young star up.

Quincy Wilson put up a post on 28th April on his Instagram and added a new post on his official account with 46k+ following.  The image features his black-and-white image along with a bold comment, “365 days we’ll be back.” In a very short period, the post garnered more than 12k likes and tons of comments. Fans couldn’t help but rally to show their support & admiration.
