Finances are a big challenge ahead of the Paris Olympics 2024
Athletes competing in the Paris Olympics won’t get paid. The Olympics limit their financial rewards to the podium holders of the game. However, to tackle the problem, World Athletics has recently announced a $50000 bonus for all the gold medal winners. Even then, the problem is not solved. With only one discipline enforcing a bonus system, the majority of the athletes will be staring into a financial void.
Under such circumstances, the announcement of the E+ Games is of paramount importance. Practically, they are offering double the amount that World Athletics has allotted. Thus, it might not be a distant possibility to see several athletes getting enhanced for the atrocious money-making prospect that lies within.
