She did not expect that she would find such unwavering support from the children. The 29-year-old sprinting ace posed for pictures with the students and had a heart-to-heart conversation with them.

She uploaded many pictures from the school visit and wrote an emotional caption that read, “On my arrival at Vere Technical High School, I met these two nice student. They were so excited and that’s made me so happy and excited too”. The two girls gave Jackson two handwritten letters each where they had bared their genuine feelings for the track and field icon.

Shericka Jackson mentioned the touching letters and wrote, “I read them when I got home and got so emotional because I could feel every word they wrote. This made my whole trip to Vere Technical High School”. The two girls had professed their love for her and called her the “most beautiful girl/woman”.
