The 2023 Diamond League finals concluded on a thrilling note. Many records were made, and several of them were broken. While Shericka Jackson took home 100m and 200m victories, Sha’Carri Richardson‘s favorite person, Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis, surpassed his own record in pole vaulting and stood atop the podium. Now, after ending the season on a staunch note, a multitude of sprinting icons joined forces to play Steve Harvey’s favorite game.

From American track and field star Noah Lyles to Jamaican triple jumper Kimberly Williams, several sprinting prodigies were seen engaging in a fun post-season game. As they wrapped up their sprinting spree with the 2023 Prefontaine Classic, the track and field icons took all the brownie points through their ‘Family Feud’ session.

Noah Lyles and Mondo Duplantis joined forces for ‘Family Feud’

The video of this exciting show was shared by The Prefontaine Classic on their Twitter handle (now X). It featured Noah Lyles, the American pole vaulting prodigy Katie Moon, hurdler and sprinter Grant Holloway, and Mondo Duplantis. Apart from them, Jamaican triple jumper Kimberly Williams and Canadian Paralympic athlete Marissa Papaconstantinou were also there.

During the show, the stars were asked several questions, one of which left everyone in splits. In that question, the athletes had to name a celebrity who would be a fast sprinter. To this, Lyles replies, “Terry Hill,” while Duplantis says, “Isn’t Kevin Hart fairly fast?”

Interestingly, as the Q&A advanced, Lyles gave an intriguing answer to the question “Name something an athlete is likely to forget on the competition day“. To this, the sprinter answered the possible options and conceded, “uniform, bibs, press pass, spikes.

The 23-year-old pole vaulting prodigy also chimed in with an answer to the question and added, “if it’s me than probably like snacks.” The athletes and their candid replies to these questions were just too hilarious to be missed.

In a further question, they were asked to name the most underrated aspect of their sport. To this Holloway answered, “The Mental State,” Williams says she never thought of it, while Lyles replies, “The fact that you have to train the whole year and you only have one World Championships.”

These athletes and their fun family feud adventure underscore the fact that athletes can also have some off-time from their regular routine, and when they decide to have some fun, it is definitely something that should be streamed.
