Beyond the Finish Line

Recently, Sara Hall announced the ecstatic news that she would soon be participating in her eighth Olympic Trials. To share this moment with track and field spectators, Citius Mag took to their Twitter account and posted a couple of pictures of Sara Hall with a positive message to appreciate the 40-year-old athlete’s unwavering determination. They penned, “A moment of appreciation for the longevity of @SaraHall3 At 40 years old, she will be competing in her EIGHTH U.S. Olympic Trials.

Despite having a major challenge that may restrict athletes from performing well, Sara Hall has always succeeded in accomplishing the highest milestone in her life. In a recent instagram post, Sara penned, “It took a whole year of inconsistency and rebuilding to finally get consistency- just in time for this Olympic Trials buildup. For the first time since doing this sport I had a year in there with more days I couldn’t run than couldAlways fires to put out in marathon training but thankful to hit 5 months without missing a day of running.

Consequently, Sara Hall moved ahead by improving her previously set records. She has been working for the last five months without missing one day of running to make this year a win. But what is Sara Hall preparing for?

Sara’s eighth Olympics trials

Sara Hall is currently undergoing rigorous training to compete in her eighth U.S. Olympics Trails. She will be in line at her 2024 Olympics Marathon Trials, which will be her sixth Olympics cycle and her eighth Olympic Trail. So far, her best finish is 6th place in the 2021 U.S. Olympics Trails in 10,000.
