This year’s NYC Marathon was bound to be a crowd-puller for several reasons. One of them definitely being the list of participants. But there were some spots because of the disorganization and the sudden chaos among the participants. It resulted in an unfortunate collapse and ruckus midway through the race. Joe Hale, a track photographer from NYC, did not let go of the occasion. He used his X-handle by the name of @kuperhale to take a dig on the World Athletics. He funnily equipped with the caption, “World Athletics is excited to announce the nominees for 2023 Collision of The Year… “ after sharing two images of the incident.

Hale is not alone in this. Another X handle @TheWarOnCars has been also posting about the traffic situation on the Marathon day in NYC. The handle has used the X-platform to show its protest extravagant infestation of vehicles around the route of the marathon. It posted screenshots of a few comments “on the New York Times story about driving the NYC Marathon route”. And the comments clearly show the disappointment of the citizens. How the authorities are reacting to it?

The NYC Marathon website caused a major concern as it only made adjustments to the route locations and neglected to update the current information. Amid all the chaos in the administrative part, one can not take the eyes off some participants of the event.
