Richardson defeated the Olympic champion
Taking everyone by surprise, Sha’Carri Richardson registered her significant win in the Spitzen Leichtathletik meet. She beat double sprint champion and Olympic winner Elaine Thompson-Herah in the women’s 100m.

Leaving fans utterly shocked, Richardson won the race by touching the finishing line in a record 11.29 seconds. Following the announcement, one of the fans quickly stated, “Sha’carri Richardson is back yall! Wins her first 100M back in 11.29 seconds. In a rain storm at that”

Back in 2021, Richardson ran her personal best. By running at 10.72 seconds, she became the fourth-fastest American woman in history. Once again, creating history, Richardson ran the fastest woman (in 100m), Elaine Thompson-Herah, in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Defeating the five-time Olympic champion and one of the Jamaican’s best sprinters is undoubtedly an achievement for Richardson. Taking a fun stand, one of the fans commented, “Jamaicans are SCARED of Sha’Carri Richardson.”

Sharing the details of the race, one of Richardson’s fans took to Twitter.
In her first race since the U.S. Outdoor Championships in June, Sha'Carri Richardson wins the women's 100m in Luzern in 11.29s ahead of Elaine Thompson in 11.30s in rainy conditions and -2.0 m/s wind.

In the said race, ace sprinter Thompson-Herah finished second by completing the race in 11.30 seconds, while Celera Branes from America came third. Branes touched the finishing line at 11.40 seconds. Fans can not get enough of Richardson; they want more of Richardson’s “dominance.”
