Track and field icon Fred Kerley is gearing up to overcome new challenges and clinching new accolades in the 2024 season. The sprinting star started out his career as a 400m racer but shifted to 200 and 100 meter tracks in 2020. Now, as Kerley looks to conquer the 60m track for the first time in his career, the track and field celebrity receives some additional help to maintain his time on the court.

Interestingly, as the holiday season is approaching, Tag Heuer surprised the sprinter with a fascinating gift.

New gift for Fred Kerley ahead of 2024 season

Earlier this year, Fred Kerley, along with Letslie Tebogo and Summer McIntosh, was announced as the brand ambassador of the Tag Heuer community. The famous watchmaker brand announced the partnership comes from a shared belief of maintaining peak performance at all times. As Kerley is girded up to endorse more designs from Kerley in the upcoming season, he received a pleasant Christmas surprise from the Swiss watchmaker.

In his latest Instagram story, the track and field star shared snippets of his Christmas gift from Tag Heuer. Captioned “Thank you the @TagHeuer Family“, Kerley is seen receiving a sizable box from the Swiss watch designers. Along with a pristine-looking analog wristwatch, the Olympian also shared a heartwarming hand-written message sent to him from his newest sponsors.

The note can be read wishing Kerley the very best for next year while also emphasizing how proud the Tag family is to have a man of Kerley’s stature onboard. The note couldn’t end better as it did by wishing Kerley and his family a joyous Christmas.

The highlight of 2023 for Kerley was his gold in the 4×100 m relay race at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest. However, his individual medal tally didn’t receive any memorable new entrance. To turn things around, Kerley was recently seen training hard for the 60m track event.
