Noah Lyles has been a trailblazer in the track and field realm. In the past few years, he has achieved everything that was there for a runner to achieve. In no time, he became the poster boy of this sport and asserted his supremacy in the recently concluded world championship. His dominance is so palpable that this Florida-based runner was also recognized off-track and has been a part of numerous ventures in recent times. He was invited to various shows for a candid interaction where he talked his heart out.

In the same fashion, Lyles was once invited by Jamaican sprinter turned YouTuber Asafa Powell to appear on his podcast. Both of these track prodigies had a long conversation about Lyles and his career. In the same interaction, Lyles talked extensively about his first documentary series, which was released this year. He also revealed that his inspiration behind making the series was Marvin Bracy, who was a former teammate of NFL linebacker Bobby Wagner.

The “Fast Lane Lifestyle” podcast, hosted by Powell on his YouTube channel, featured a sit-down interview with Noah Lyles. During their sports-related conversation, in a specific segment, Powell asks Lyles about his upcoming documentary (which has already dropped now).

To this, Noah Lyles replied, “I’m just coming to too many situations where there are not enough of our stories being told, and I’m a firm believer in making sure that everybody gets their story somewhat told.” He then makes a reference to Marvin Bracy and how he made a comeback after struggling on the track. Bracy used to play football initially, and until he transitioned to track and field to pursue a new career, he didn’t have the best of starts in his athletic career as he had to go through some significant injuries. But, he came out of these setbacks bravely and won several titles later.

Lyles also added that Bracy was dealing with injuries and was barely making it to the track, and then finally he got his due. Lyles’ docuseries, “Untitled: The Noah Lyles Project,” premiered on August 18, 2023. NBC Sports collaborated with Noah Lyles to bring out his career aspects and what goes behind the scenes of his success.
