On April 28, 2024, the track & field community witnessed a remarkable event: Abby Steiner’s courageous comeback. At just 24 years old, Abby had faced a challenging six-month battle with a heel injury back in 2023. After finishing fourth in the 200m at the USA Track and Field Championships, she decided to end her season and focus on her recovery.

Abby returned to the track a year later with a winning performance at the Tom Jones Invitational. While she was known for her speed in the 60m, 100m, and 200m sprints, Abby surprised many with a dominant victory in the 400m event.
