After a stellar promotional ad with Whoop, Sha’Carri Richardson has again come forward to display her love for the electronic gear. This time, it is the Bluetooth headphone made by Beats by Dre. Beats isn’t just a company but a phenomenon making athletes and stars the world over groove to their favorite tunes on these technological marvels by Dr. Dre (a renowned rapper). With legendary backing and endorsements by not just Sha’Carri Richardson but a doyen of NBA stars to college level athletes and whatnot, it’s become a global synthesis of lucrative NIL appeal. LeBron James was sighted sporting the prototype version of the Beats Studio Buds before they were even released.

With its contemporary, sleek, chic and wonderful amalgam of designs and variants in its production arsenal, it’s no wonder stars take to endorse it like bees to honey. Even DJ Khaled was spotted promoting the Beats Pro and Beats X. Even UFC phenom Conor McGregor was christened as the poster boy for Beats just months before his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2017. Travis Scott’s longstanding allegiance to the brand, dating back to 2015, is evident too. Olympian Michael Phelps had an interesting brush with the conglomerate too.

He was first seen sporting a black-and-gold custom Studio Wireless headphones in 2016 during the Rio Olympics. He was coerced to keep the logo under wraps, literally and figuratively, as it was banned in the Olympics. Gymnastics sweetheart Simone Biles too was a mainstay with the brand, feat the Powerbeats Pro during a convivial practice session in an exclusive Beats ad. The billion dollar project started in 2006 and has since been an inexorable juggernaut with its discernible eye for pop culture fandom, leading to its success and now, track superstar Richardson has hopped on the bandwagon too.

A few days back, Sha’Carri Richardson announced her engagement with the multimillion brand on social media. Now, she has teased the netizens’ interest by sharing a sneak peek from the promotional shoot. Richardson’s association with the brand commenced in 2021. Kanye West was all the rage back then and an ad featuring Richardson beginning to sprint whilst donning the impeccable Beats Studio Buds. Kanye West’s latest track “No Child Left Behind,” reverberatingly plays in the background. Beats even penned a note –“@itskerrii doesn’t need you to let her do anything. Scored and edited by @kanyewest. Featured track is “No Child Left Behind” DONDA is officially out in 48 hours!”

In the recent shoot, Sha’Carri found Angel Reese from the LSU Tigers. In Sha’Carri’s IG post, the duo paired with Naomi Osaka, the former US Open champion, often turned the table in the question of civil rights. So with such a star-studded presence, Beats by Dre kept the trio on the same page. On the other hand, Angel Reese termed the entire pack the ‘Team Beats’. Naomi Osaka also had something to say about this.

The tennis star termed the Dre Solo 4 headphones and earbuds ‘the cutest ever’. Meanwhile, Sha’Carri Richardson was seen on the track, taking her stride while keeping the headphones plugged in, a sight to behold. In the additional postage, Beats unfurled the reason for going with the sprinter in the promotional ad. “Music helps Sha’Carri Richardson stay focused on the next finish line. The songs on her personal playlist reflect the many sides of her personality and remind her of her responsibility to stay true to her path,” stated Beats. But this is not the first time Dre came in clutch supporting Sha’Carri Richardson in solidarity.

Beats by Dre keeps coming back for Sha’Carri Richardson

Three years back, Sha’Carri Richardson had a strong chance to appear on the Olympic platform in 2021. She punched her Japanese capital ticket by wrapping up the 100m dash trial in 10.86 then. However, USADA banned her participation after finding Sha’Carri consuming THC, a restricted stimulant. Though, the LSU alum repeatedly claimed that it was because of her depression after her mother’s demise. But she had to leave with empty hands and deferred dreams.

Beats by Dre came to Sha’Carri Richardson’s rescue at that moment, offering her the brand deal. Aiming her popularity and the cultural conversation she brought, Beats signed the deal. Ultimately, in the promotional ad as well, the brand kept the background fitting by adding the track from Kanye West’s “No Child Left Behind”. In the same ad, Kanye West announced his new album, “DONDA” which had been named after his mother’s.
