Little mentioned that as the “‘pro runners don’t eat sweet’ discourse” is making its way again, setting social media ablaze. She wanted to share her opinion. She switched to her humorous self and added, throughout my running career, I didn’t eat cookies everyday. But that’s only because I like cupcakes much better.”.

Olympic gold medalist Katie Moon stepped forward and boldly declared her pre-competition ritual. Her revelation of indulging in desserts without guilt before participating in the competition has left fans stunned. For Moon, dessert isn’t just a treat. She shared how she considers sweet a crucial ingredient in maintaining both physical performance and mental well-being. With a nonchalant shrug, she wrote, “Moderation is key, but so is sanity. After securing the winning pedestal for both World Athletic Championships in 2022 and 2023 and bagging gold in pole vault in the Tokyo Olympics, Moon is now gearing up for Paris. So far, so good. It has not been drastically different. My coach has been really good. I just do everything he tells me to do”, expressed Moon, referring to her training regime.

She further added, “This year has been more of a strength-based pre-season, so, a lot more weight-room, which as a strength-based athlete I really appreciate”.
