Undoubtedly, some athletes find motivation from audiences cheering and listening to supportive remarks, beneficial for their careers. Some fans even go one step ahead, and shower them with delightful gifts. However, some fans go beyond belief when gifting their beloved athletes. Similarly, the legendary Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, witnessed the most bizarre miracle on his doorstep, which left him in disbelief. 

 

Currently, Bolt holds both the 100-meter, and 200-meter world records. Yet, in every race he competed in, Bolt became the perfectionist, who grabbed everyone’s attention. He unveiled this amusing incident from 2015, during an interview with the Standard. Co.

A strange gift flabbergasting the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt

Jamaica’s proud track and field athlete, Usain Bolt, has expressed gratitude for his supporters, and their love even after retirement. In an earlier interview, Bolt was questioned, what is the “Strangest thing a fan has sent you?”

 He replied, “I was given a car door one time in Switzerland.”

Probably, the gift would have wrecked his mind, but it didn’t stop him from accepting the offering of his precious fan. The sprinter rose to prominence with the love of his admirers. But, it was his destiny that brought him from running on the pitch in cricket to running on the tracks at lightning speed.

Since a young age, Usain flourished as a fast bowler in cricket. Moreover, he pursued his goal of playing for Manchester United, but his fate led him to track and field. Following this, his school’s track and field coaches introduced him to the sport. Later in 2008, he secured two gold medals to leave the athletics fraternity, dazed and confused.

A gift from a Cameraman which Bolt could never forget

In 2015, after the 200-meter final, a Chinese cameraman, Song Tao, made an undesirable move by steering over Usain while capturing him on camera. However, this move ruined his picture-perfect moment, when he was finishing the honor lap. Even after discomfort, the sprinter smiled and helped the photographer to get back on his feet.

Meanwhile, during the medal ceremony, Song, regretful for what had transpired, returned with a gift for Bolt. The gift was a deep-red colored bracelet that the sprinter appeared to appreciate. To sum up, this minor accident concluded with a pat on his back and a handshake. At the end of the day, an exceptional athlete is also an extraordinary gentleman.
