For the last few days, the Jamaican legends have been closely monitoring Noah Lyles, as the latter already irked the discussion. After valiantly announcing to go after “every medal”, the American sprinter recently vowed to erase Usain Bolt’s records. The fastest man in history has turned up the heat by saying, “…the possibility is there”. If that wasn’t enough then, Noah Lyles should find his motivation from the latest revelation.

This time, Usain Bolt’s Jamaican relay mate rallied behind the 6x world champion. He acknowledged Noah Lyles’ ongoing role that helped change the track and field fervor for good.

Aiming for the Paris Olympics, Yohan Blake is excited about his winning possibility in the coming track and field encounters. The veteran sprinter also knows his biggest threat among his American counterparts. However, that couldn’t stop him from showering good words on Noah Lyles. “What’s due to Caesar, you give to Caesar…I want him [Noah Lyles] keep doing it and enjoy what he’s doing and change the sports,” Blake claimed to Athletics Weekly. He also mentioned the essentiality Noah Lyles holds currently on the tracks.

Just a few days ago, Noah claimed about the increased television viewership during his battle with Christian Coleman in the US National Indoor Championships. Things like this keep the track and field momentum. This seemed to satisfy Yohan Blake.

So, praising that, the double Olympic champion confessed, “I’m saying the sports need that, and he’s doing that. I have no problem.” On the tracks as well, Noah Lyles kept Yohan Blake awestruck with his performances in the last 6 years. The 34-year-old Jamaican is yet to defeat Noah in seven encounters. However, Noah will find the Jamaican opponents between him and his dream.

The Jamaican furies in front of Noah Lyles

In maintaining the Jamaican stronghold, Yohan Blake might hold the maximum responsibility. Apart from him, Kishane Thompson might also be there. The budding Jamaican star showcased a fiery performance against the American opponent in the Prefontaine Classic last year. In that 100m neck-to-neck battle, Noah could make it to the finishing line just 0.02 seconds earlier. Apart from these champions, there will be another Blake who flaunted a fiery form against the Tokyo Olympics medalist in the indoor season.

Facing Noah Lyles twice in this indoor season, Ackeem Blake faced defeat just for keeping a 0.01-0.02 second gap. However, he is trying to pass through each test now to make his fourth Olympics memorable. A change in daily routines also made it to the list to fulfill the dream. Now, before an obvious track meet, the certificate from Yohan might inspire Noah more.
