Eddie Hall and Daniel Stahl might be eyeing bagging the best reward from track and field in Paris next year. In Budapest this year, the Swedish gentle giant made the distance of 71.46m in the discus throw to surpass several records, earning the coveted world champion title. That day only Kristjan Ceh gave him a neck-to-neck run. However, recent developments in the discus throwing may prop up Stahl for a ‘thunderous’ challenge.

The X platform flexed a recent video of a champion of another field, Eddie Hall doing his utmost in a greenfield. All Eddie Hall was doing was measuring his best run in the discus throwing. The result outsmarted several entities.

Eddie Hall tries the water of discus throwing

In a recent X-post of Throwers Universe, Eddie Hall appeared with his traditional high-pitched tone but with a discus throw in hand. The apt caption catered to the reason, “World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall attempts the discus throw”. with the traditional flexing biceps and space shuttle emojis. Superficially, the World’s Strongest Man thought to cross a great height as midway he claimed, “That was further.” Eddie tried his best to use his enormous deltoid muscles to crunch all the records made in the discus throwing in one go. However, the situation soon evaporated.

After throwing the discus ring, the excited 500-kg deadlifter rushed to quantify the length his thrown object crossed. The excitation filled his gaffe voice, “Well, it didn’t land there, did it? “. The meter showed the distance, 42.4m. Apparently, Eddie Hall chuckled, “Landed a bit short,…, which makes sense because we’re at the halfway line”. That might have dampened Eddie Hall’s heart, but the scenario contributed to several speculations.

The consistent efforts without verbosity

Eddie Hall often tried to shift his goalpost while choosing opponents. This time it was Daniel Stahl. However, three years ago, it was the mythical Juergen Schult, the world record holder in the discus throwing. On that morning in 2020, Eddie tried his best to overcome the 74.08m record made by Schult in 1986. But all he could match up to was 36m. “Pretty terrible” was his best response. But the 35-year-old Beast didn’t lose his heart in the process.

Soon, he tried to copy Schult’s move to achieve glory. But that time, the discus throw didn’t want to leave Eddie Hall’s giant grab and remained there. “I can’t get it “, the destitute Hall outpoured. “I did it in high school, before I was expelled,” was his part of the sad story regarding his love affair with discus throwing. However, since then, the recent X-post might have let Eddie feel a better outcome. Daniel Stahl must be looking at that and Hafthor Bjornsson might get relief.
