On February 10th, the tracks of Lievin showcased an impressive lineup of world-class athletes as the Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais hosted the annual indoor track and field meet. However, in the start-studded meet, the Dutch track and field star, Femke Bol, took the spotlight through her impressive performance.

“That was an almost flawless race. Now, she has improved even further, but breaking that record again requires near perfection,” said Femke Bol’s coach Laurent Meuwly when the Dutch sprinter recorded the sixth fastest time in history indoors in 400m on 3rd February. Keeping the same zeal in check, as the starting pistol went off on the French tracks on 10th February, Bol sprinted toward the finish line and ended up etching another record in her name. Following this, she not only stood atop the podium but also garnered a hoard full of regards from her fandom.

Femke Bol, the two-time European Athlete of the Year, added one more accolade to her wall of fame by recording the fourth fastest time in history indoors in the 400m. She recorded the timeframe of 49.63 and crossed the finish line by leaving her counterparts in her wake.

Following her incredible feat, the Dutch sprinter took to her Instagram handle to express her elation. Sharing a still of herself from the tracks of Lievin, she posed for a camera in her orange track and field gear all while holding the ‘World Leading’ meet card in her hand.

Interestingly, on 3rd February,Femke Bol showcased her prowess at the Meeting Metz Moselle Athlélor (WIT Silver), delivering a stellar performance with a time of 49.69 in the 400m. With that win, she marked the sixth-fastest time indoors and the swiftest season opener in history. Nevertheless, by clocking 49.63 at Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais, Bol’s time became the fourth fastest time in indoors history.

Nonetheless, Bol’s fans flocked to the comment section to express their heartfelt encomium for the sprinter and left a series of regards for the Dutch star.
