In September 2024, Saint Lucia appointed Julien Alfred as its Tourism Ambassador. She frequently shares videos on Instagram promoting the island’s natural beauty and serene destinations. As part of the deal, she also participates in promotional events to showcase Saint Lucia’s tourism potential in foreign markets. “With her influence, we aim to attract visitors seeking not just a destination, but an inspiring experience that resonates deeply,” St. Lucia Tourism Minister Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire said after the historic partnership.

And as for Julien Alfred herself, St. Lucia is always number 1: “I can’t tell which is the bigger achievement right now – winning the Olympic gold or being an ambassador to my beloved country. However, rest assured that wherever I roam, Saint Lucia will always be my first choice.” As part of a co-branding agreement, her Puma apparel will also feature the Saint Lucia logo.
