Back in his high school days when he was a sophomore, Grant Holloway was defeated by another sprinting legend, Edwin Mosses, at the 60m Indoor hurdles. Edwin Moses has been a name synonymous with intermediate hurdles. He is well known for achieving the feat that no other man has ever done.

Interestingly, he features a world record of 47.64 that he made to win the Olympic title before breaking it himself in 1980 by 47.13. Therefore, getting defeated by such a formidable force was nothing surprising. But Holloway took it as a challenge and paved his path to become the 60m hurdles king.

Now, the reigning 110m hurdles world champion is aiming for a victory at the 2024 World Indoor Championships.
