Noah Lyles is gearing up to add yet another accolade to his kitty, and that is winning the Olympic gold, which has been a milestone that he is yet to achieve. While the Gainesville native is currently sweating it out in the training camps, he has chosen a perfect moment for himself ahead of the Paris event. The reigning world champion is planning a perfect Undertaker moment for his Paris christening.

The runner is looking to replicate the same move that ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya pulled out during his UFC 276 performance. Lyles got candid about the same during an interview recently, and it’s something that has been a dream for every child out there.

The Olympic medalist sat for a podcast with the World Athletics on Thursday, where he was talking about his Paris Olympics aspirations and others. Richard Kilty, the world championship silver medal-winning British runner, suggested that he’d love to see sprinters come out to a song and asked Noah Lyles about his views on the same and what his ideal entrance song would be. To which the Florida-based runner replied, I feel this song would actually create the moment that I want. It is the Undertaker’s intro song,” with a smile on his face.

The WWE Hall of Famer, the Undertaker, stands as one of the most iconic figures, cherished by fans across various domains. Lyles further visualized the moment, stating that he’d love to see lights go out, spotlights fall on him, and the iconic bell sound of “dung” play in the background while the screens display all his achievements. Well, Noah Lyles has his entry theme ready for his outing at the Olympics, and he also seems poised to dominate the event with his performance as well.

Prepared and primed for the behemoth games

The six-time world champion is high on confidence, which was witnessed during an interview that he gave to CNN. When asked to rate his confidence level on a scale of ten, the double individual world champion replied twenty with a smile and said it’s over the moon. He also added that the last three years have been buildups, especially 2023, where he became the triple world champion (including the 4×100 victory).

Throwing it back to the Tokyo Olympics, Lyles shared that the competition served as his inspiration to strive for excellence, igniting a renewed determination within him. He affirmed that he is going to prove that the 200-meter event in Tokyo, where he secured bronze, was just a fluke, and that he is going to win it all in Paris, leaving no chance of redemption for others.
