Two years ago, Hunter playfully decided to try his hand at long jumping, envisioning the length of her jumps to be over 1 ½ full-sized trucks. How Hunter and Tara’s love defied distance and soared to new heights

In the summer of 2017, Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis embarked on a journey of love. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, as Davis embarked on his educational journey at the University of Georgia before transferring to the University of Texas, and Woodhall pursued his studies at the University of Arkansas, their bond deepened even further.

However, in 2021 they showed their athletic prowess on the global stage. Davis soared to 6th place in the women’s long jump at the Tokyo Olympics, while Woodhall clinched a bronze medal in the Men’s 400m T62 event at the Paralympics. Shortly after the Olympic games, Woodhall proposed to Tara in a heartfelt gesture, setting the stage for the next chapter of their fairytale romance.

On October 16, 2022, Davis and Woodhall exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony witnessed by over 200 loved ones. Their wedding was a true reflection of their enduring love and commitment to each other, marking the beginning of their happily ever after.
