At 17 years old, the Trinidad and Tobago natives, although living in the United States and attending Druid Hills High School in Atlanta, Georgia, have already left an indelible mark on the track and field.

Track and field dreams of the twins

Both sp?cializing in th? 100m and 200m ?v?nts, Sanaa has showcas?d h?r sp??d with a notabl? p?rsonal b?st of 11.33 s?conds in th? 100m. Sol? boasts impressive personal best times of 11.60 seconds in the 100m and 23.41 seconds in the 200m. Recently, a tweet was made on the official page of Track Spice with the caption, “Talented Trinidad and Tobago sprint twins Sanaa and Sole Frederick are headed to the University of Georgia. 17-year-old girls run the 100m and 200m. Sanaa, who has a personal best of 11.33 in the 100m, finished third in the event at the 2023 Carifta Games in the Bahamas in April, running a time of 11.65. She went two places better in the 200m, which she won in 23.60.”

Sanaa, along with her sister Sol?, played a pivotal role in securing a silver medal for the T&T 4x100m relay team at the Carifta Games. The sprinter continued their sprint performances at the Youth Commonwealth Games in Trinidad and Tobago, with Sanaa clinching a bronze medal in the 100m, clocking 11.48 seconds.
