Track and field athlete Sha’Carri Richardson is no stranger to controversy. After a meteoric rise through college athletics, the former LSU athlete broke two Under-20 world records at 19. She also qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. However, in a huge blow to her career, Richardson tested positive for a banned substance resulting in a disqualification from the Olympics. Shortly after her disqualification, 11-time Olympic medalist Allyson Felix spoke about Sha’Carri Richardson on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

In her answer, Richardson made a shocking confession on what she felt about the “OGs” of track and field.

“However, when I was going through my ban along with the death of my mother, none of y’all favorite athletes (literally none of the OGs in track reached out including her),” added the 23-year-old. Richardson, who broke Allyson Felix’s Under-20 200m world record set in 2004, also said that the Olympian and other track-and-field veterans “had lots to say to everyone else,” while keeping their distance.
