It has been 2 years since the conclusion of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and Fred Kerley is yet to forget his loss to the Italian champion by the barest margin of 0.04 seconds. In a recent press conference, Kerley, confident as ever, makes a bold statement about his opponent, and states that come next time when they meet, he will beat him. A sly dig at him by Kerley was also not amiss.

Fred Kerley is still looking to avenge his loss at Tokyo Olympics

Oluwadare whose Twitter description goes, “I just love track and field” recently shared a video of Fred Kerley speaking to a press. The tweet was, “Fred Kerley is betting on himself winning a head-to-head race against Lamont Marcell Jacobs if it happens. However, he doesn’t know if Jacobs would show up on race day”.

In the clip, Kerley mentions that same in his supremely confident tone. However, he did make another comment though, which was nothing less than a sly dig. He said if Jacobs showed up, he would defeat him. And then, went on to cast the same shadow of a doubt if Jacobs would show up or not.
