Megan Rapinoe, LeBron James, and Naomi Osaka Joined Troll Donald Trump Team When He Saw Defeat on the Hands of Joe Biden in 2020

USWNT star performer Megan Rapinoe needs no formal introduction. The captain of the United States National Team, Megan, has been an instrumental player. She has led the team to many victories. Her performance during the 2019 World Cup is one of the most iconic. Having won the Best Fifa Women’s player of the year, the American athlete is a living legend.

It’s not just the field in which Megan registers her domination. Even outside, Megan never shies away from expressing her opinions. During the 2020 American Presidential Election, Megan and other athletes led a vigorous campaign against President Donald Trump.

The list included stars like Megan, LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell, Naomi Osaka, and others. Thus, when the election results came and Joe Biden emerged as the elected head, the stars could not restrain themselves from expressing their happiness.

As soon as the results were announced, Megan took to Twitter. She tweeted, “Thank you, Black Women.” she thanked the public for voting in such huge numbers.

Megan was, however, not the only one to express her happiness with the result. Her friends and colleagues also joined hands to troll “Team Trump.”

Expressing excitement, NBA star Donovan Mitchell wrote, “I am extremely excited to have @JoeBiden as president but growing up with my mother and sister, two black women! For them to have someone like @KamalaHarris leading the charge man is truly incredible not just for black people but for BLACK WOMEN!”

Many legends from the sporting fraternity joined together to celebrate Biden’s win. The fans were also quick to join in the celebrations with the stars.

The legends did not hold back

LeBron was one of the first athletes to express his displeasure over the Trump administration. Talking a sarcastic shot at Trump, LeBron once tweeted, “Going to the White House was a great honor until you showed up!”

Taking a stand against police brutality, tennis player Naomi Osaka wore facemasks. She did that in solidarity with the black Americans who lost their lives to the police. She has always been vocal for the Black Community. Celebrating Biden’s win, Naomi shared a clip from ‘The Office.’ In the clip, the lead character shouts, “Thank You.”

Megan Rapinoe is known for her boisterous personality. Regardless of what people say or think, she puts her thoughts in front.
