“Can’t-Wait to See Olympia”: Serena Williams, Daughter, Receives Adorable Invitation from USWNT Legend Alex Morgan and Her 2-Year-Old

From the moment Serena Williams announced her retirement from the world of tennis, wishes started to pour in to thank her for all the contributions. After an incredible 27-year-long career, Serena finally waved goodbye to the court. Brushing away any possibility of returns, Serena now wants to focus more on her family.

The impact that the 23 Grand Slams winner Serena has had off-court is incredible. She took a perfect moment to thank and congratulate her on her amazing journey. The USWNT star player, Alex Morgan, posted a sweet video for Serena.

Serena and Morgan’s daughter to be seen together? 

Earlier today, in a Tweet shared by Team USA, a very special message, that read, “Charlie x Olympia is a duo we’d love to see in doubles.” 

The tweet came in response to the sweet message that American soccer star, Alex Morgan, posted over her official handle. She posted a video alongside her daughter, Charlie, for the tennis star, Serena.

In the ten-minute video posted, Alex said, “Serena, congratulations on an incredible career.” She further added, “I can’t wait to see Olympia and Charlie together.”

Towards the end of the video, Charlie cutely waves at the camera. It will be a delight for the fans if they get to see Charlie and Olympia together.

Having dominated the court for years, Serena now takes a retreat. The end was not that memorable, but it’s not the end that matters. Despite getting knocked out of the U.S. Open by Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic, Serena leaves behind a legacy that remains unrivaled.

Initially coached by her father, Richard, Serena, and her sister, Venus, slowly but steadily made moved up the ranks in the world of tennis. The sisters later joined the Rick Macci Academy. Over two long decades, Serena bagged a total of 73 singles titles and 23 doubles titles.
