Megan Rapinoe knows what she is saying
Time and again, Megan has stressed the importance of “equal pay.” Being a known name in the sporting field, she points out that she is making at least half “a million dollars a year.” But sadly, her earnings are not equal to what the male athletes earn.

When Megan said, “we’re a little more relatable than actresses who make millions of dollars – not that that makes inequality any better,” she knew what she was saying could offend many, but she said it because she wanted to make a point.
To speak up is what matter’s for Megan. As she quotes, “speaking out is simply the duty of everyone with a conscience.” Speaking for herself, she says it’s in her nature to speak. By taking a stand and voicing her opinion, she often finds herself on the receiving end. Nonetheless, she does not shy away from speaking up.

Megan believes in the importance of “equality.” The soccer legend’s perspective widened as she traveled across the globe for her professional commitments.

Be it ex-US President Trump or her parents, if there’s anything that goes against the greater good, she speaks up. The cause that she stands up for is not just restricted to the field; her voice travels beyond. For what Megan does and believes, “many women are going to benefit from, for generations to come.”
